Performances February 15-18

Direction by Barry Cutler

A vacant apartment with six rooms and a river view is open for inspection by prospective tenants, and among them are a man and a woman, strangers when they meet. As the last to leave, they find themselves locked in and though both are happily married, discover a mutual attraction as they wait out the long night ahead.

CASTING

The leading role of Anne Miller is already cast.

Paul Friedman - An attractive, intelligent and humorous Jewish man in his late twenties to early thirties.

Janet Friedman - An attractive, assertive Jewish woman in her late twenties to early thirties.

Richard Miller - A good-looking WASP. A patient, supportive architect in his late twenties to early thirties.

Woman in 4A - A strongly opinionated and distrustful character in her mid-forties or older.

Eddie - The superintendent of the building. Preferably mid-forties or older (although, could be played younger). He has an accent and, while he may be of any ethnicity, preferably Hispanic.

Pregnant Woman - A very determined young mother, in her mid-twenties to mid-thirties.

Larry - The energetic and upbeat husband of the pregnant woman, in his mid-twenties to early forties.
